Nigeria, May 27 -- As Children's Day is marked globally today, the wife of Anambra State Governor, Dr Nonye Soludo has called for concerted efforts by government and society to create a suitable environment for the all-round development of the Nigerian child.

Dr Soludo's call was contained in a statement she issued on Wednesday to mark the global observance.

Children's Day is celebrated on May 27 every year in Nigeria, and this year's celebration has as its theme "Future Now: Promoting Inclusion for Every Nigerian Child."
