Nigeria, April 13 -- A 15-year-old suspect identified as Tijjani has been arrested by security forces in Ngamdu, Borno State, over his alleged involvement in recent attacks in the area.

The arrest took place on Sunday, April 12, following a military operation targeting individuals linked to the assault on Benisheik and Ngamdu communities last Thursday.

In a video statement obtained by The News Chronicle, the teenager claimed he moved between Jilli and Ngamdu during the period of the attacks. He further alleged that he was sent with the sum of N850,000 to procure logistics for the group before his arrest by troops.
