Nigeria, March 19 -- In a press release obtained by The News Chronicle on Thursday, the Command extended greetings to the Muslim faithful on the successful completion of Ramadan, while assuring residents of adequate security arrangements across the state.

According to the statement, the movement of tricycles will be restricted from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on March 20, 2026. The police said the directive is aimed at strengthening security coordination, improving crowd control, and preventing potential threats during the festivities.

Worshippers were also advised to observe Eid prayers at designated grounds closest to their homes to reduce movement and avoid overcrowding.
