Nigeria, April 20 -- This was disclosed in an official statement by the Borno South Youth Alliance (BOSYA) on Sunday night, April 19, 2026.
According to the statement signed by BOSYA President, Samaila Ibrahim Kaigama, the insurgents sent what was described as a "final warning video" after presenting their demands. These reportedly include a ransom of N5 billion for the safe release of the victims.
BOSYA noted that specific instructions regarding the release process were also communicated during the mediation efforts.
