Nigeria, May 20 -- The governor issued the warning in Minna on Tuesday evening, shortly after the announcement of the primary election results, while congratulating the party's successful aspirants.

Bago urged the candidates to embrace reconciliation by reaching out to aspirants who either stepped down or lost during the contest, stressing the need for unity within the party.

"Doing this will build a stronger party. It is important to work as a team," he said.

He applauded the APC electoral committee for conducting a peaceful and hitch-free primary election for both the Senate and House of Representatives seats in Niger State.
