Nigeria, Aug. 10 -- The union announced the decision at a press conference in Keffi, Nasarawa State, following a branch congress held on Monday to deliberate on what it described as the continued non implementation of the 2025 Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) ASUU agreement and other unresolved issues affecting academic staff of the university.

According to the union, it had exhausted several avenues of dialogue and engagement with relevant authorities without achieving satisfactory implementation of the agreement or resolving the outstanding local issues.
