Nigeria, Aug. 19 -- The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA) Branch, says it will sustain its indefinite strike until the Ondo State Government addresses its outstanding demands.

The branch chairman, Prof. Boluwaji Oshodi, stated this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Akure.

Oshodi spoke against the backdrop of the state government's recent approval of a 60 per cent increase in monthly subventions to state-owned tertiary institutions and its announcement of the immediate implementation of the 2025 Federal Government-ASUU agreement to address workers' welfare.
