Nigeria, May 31 -- As preparations intensify for the 2026 governorship election in Osun State, a prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, has appealed to party members to set aside their differences and work together to secure victory at the polls.
Speaking with journalists in Osogbo on Sunday, Oyintiloye warned that internal divisions, reckless comments, provocative statements and anti-party activities could weaken the party's chances in the August 15 governorship contest.
He stressed that cohesion within the APC remains the key ingredient for electoral success, urging party leaders and elders to move swiftly in resolving grievances and discontent among members.
