Nigeria, Sept. 21 -- The Wife of Anambra State Governor, Dr Nonye Soludo distributed empowerment items, including cash to nine inmates at the Anambra Rehabilitation Home in Nteje, in Oyi Local Government Area of the state, certified medically fit to return home after their stay at the facility.

Soludo, who made the donation when she visited the rehabilitation home on Sunday, expressed excitement over the recovery of inmates.

The nine beneficiaries, having completed their rehabilitation programme and deemed fit for reintegration, were formally reunited with their respective families in the presence of government officials, the management and staff of the Centre, and community members.
