Nigeria, Sept. 22 -- The African Export Import Bank and Africa Trading and Distribution Company have signed a $500 million Global Credit Facility to strengthen commodity trade and distribution across Africa and international markets.

The News Chronicle reports that the facility will provide ATDC with additional financing to purchase and aggregate African commodities while supporting transportation, warehousing, logistics and distribution.

In addition to the funding, the deal is also expected to boost ATDC's work on developing stronger trade corridors and ensuring access to reliable sourcing networks in African markets.
