Nigeria, March 2 -- It is no longer news that the African Democratic Congress (ADC), the coalition political party, and the most formidable opposition platform, that is believed to have the capacity to wrest power from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) performed woefully in the just concluded Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Area Council elections.

The ADC did not win any chairmanship seat. The supposedly unpopular APC won five out of the six chairmanship seats. Even the dying Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP) won one chairmanship position.
