Nigeria, July 29 -- Adamawa State University (ADSU), Mubi, has banned all forms of marker and sign-out celebrations by graduating students, citing concerns over security, discipline and the institution's reputation. The directive was contained in a circular signed by the university's Registrar, Aminu Alkali, following what the management described as an unhealthy trend associated with sign-out activities. According to the circular, some graduating students have engaged in practices such as writing on clothing, defacing personal appearances and participating in other forms of celebration considered inconsistent with the institution's moral, cultural and security standards.
