Account for Anambra Woman Missing in Custody for Five Years, Group tells FG
Nigeria, Sept. 14 -- The Rule of Law and Accountability Advocacy Centre (RULAAC) has called on the Attorney-General of the Federation and other federal authorities to investigate the alleged prolonged detention of a 35-year-old Anambra woman, Ozioma Elizabeth Onyeaka, whose family says they did not know her whereabouts for more than five years.
In a statement issued on Monday by its Executive Director, Mr Okechukwu Nwanguma, the rights group urged the Federal Government to account for Onyeaka's arrest, detention history and current legal status, describing the case as a serious human rights concern.
