24-Year-Old Bags Two Weeks in Jail for Selling Colleague's Power Bank for N7,000
Nigeria, July 3 -- Abdulsalam, who resides in Zone 7, Dutse Alhaji, Abuja, was convicted after pleading guilty to the charge.
Presiding Magistrate Hauwa Aboki sentenced the defendant to two weeks in a correctional center, with an option of a N20,000 fine.
The magistrate said the convict's guilty plea spared the court the time and burden of a prolonged trial.
Earlier, the prosecution counsel, Bankole Babatunde, who appeared for Charity Nwachukwu, told the court that the offense was committed on June 29.
