Nigeria, Sept. 8 -- The Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, has said its activities ahead of the 2027 general elections are being financed through donations, levies and contributions from members, stakeholders and supporters.

The party made this known in a statement issued on Tuesday by its National Publicity Secretary, Osa Director, while clarifying its funding arrangements and candidate selection process.

Director said the NDC, as a new political organisation without elected public office holders, had developed mechanisms to raise funds for its operations and election-related activities.
