Nigeria, Aug. 24 -- The Jagaban Grassroots Movement has congratulated Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Ododo, on his appointment as Deputy Director, Finance, of the Presidential Campaign Council.

The group's Coordinator, Samuel Obasun, conveyed the congratulatory message in a statement issued on Sunday in Lokoja.

Obasun said the appointment reflected Ododo's leadership capacity, organizational skills and commitment to the All Progressives Congress.

He also commended the governor's designation as the Kogi State Coordinator of the campaign for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

According to him, Ododo's dual roles would strengthen grassroots mobilization and increase support for Tinubu across the state.
