Nigeria, Sept. 10 -- As political rhetoric around the 2027 presidential election grows increasingly heated, a public advocacy group, NEW NIGERIA INITIATIVE, has singled out Senator Abdul'aziz Abubakar Yari for taking what it described as a markedly different approach to political campaigning.

The group said Yari, Director-General of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, has chosen to steer clear of political bickering, mudslinging and provocative rhetoric, instead keeping his focus on issues it believes could strengthen the ruling party's chances at the polls.
