Nigeria, June 30 -- The resolution was reached at a meeting of the Progressives Governors Forum (PGF), chaired by Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, which ended in the early hours of Tuesday in Abuja.

Addressing journalists after the meeting, Uzodimma said the governors reaffirmed their commitment to improving the welfare of Nigerians and strengthening democratic governance across the country.

"We have resolved to work towards solving the problems and challenges facing our democratic space and ensuring that our people are better off," he said.
