Bangladesh, April 11 -- A woman named Jasvin Sangha has been sentenced to 15 years in prison in the death of Hollywood actor Matthew Perry.
The actor died in 2023 under the influence of a drug called ketamine; the drug was originally supplied to him by Sangha.
According to Al Jazeera, Sangha was sentenced to 15 years in prison on Wednesday for illegally supplying drugs.
During the court hearing, Sangha, 42, expressed regret for her actions. "I take full responsibility for my actions," she said in the dock. "These were wrong decisions with very tragic consequences."
