Bangladesh, Aug. 13 -- A high-level delegation from US financial technology company Visa, led by President of the Asia Pacific region Stephen Karpin, met Bangladesh Bank Governor Md Mostaqur Rahman on Wednesday.

During the meeting at the central bank headquarters, the delegation and the central bank chief discussed various issues of mutual interest, including the expansion of Bangladesh's digital payment ecosystem - specifically focusing on TakaPay - and the enhancement of payment system security.

BB Deputy Governors Dr Md Kabir Ahmed and Md Sarwar Hossain, along with senior officials from the Payment Systems Department of Bangladesh Bank, were also present at the meeting.
