Bangladesh, Oct. 28 -- United Commercial Bank PLC (UCB) has achieved a significant milestone in its digital transformation journey as its Agri Rural Fast Loan (ARFL) initiative has been named Champion Project of the Year, Information Technology (Medium Category) at the Bangladesh Project Management Symposium & Awards 2026.

The event was recently organized by the Project Management Institute (PMI), Bangladesh Chapter, at a hotel in the capital.

State Minister of Planning Md. Zonayed Abdur Rahim Saki attended the event as Chief Guest.

Deputy Managing Director & Chief Operating Officer of UCB Md. Abdullah Al Mamoon was present at the event along with other senior officials of the Bank.
