Bangladesh, Sept. 21 -- The government is placing special emphasis on startups, entrepreneurship and innovation among young people, Prime Minister's Adviser on Public Administration Md Ismail Zabiullah said on Sunday.

He said the government had launched a National Startup and Entrepreneurship Platform and established a Tk500 crore startup fund to support innovative initiatives. Zabiullah made the remarks while addressing the closing ceremony of the three-day science and astronomy event "Third Inter Astronomical Appogee 2026" at Viqarunnisa Noon School and College on Bailey Road in the capital.
