Bangladesh, Nov. 7 -- A Dhaka court on Friday sent Jerika Tasnim Disha, female friend of former Air Force officer Tahsif Sauri, to jail after she completed seven days of police remand in a murder case filed over his death.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Aminul Islam Junaid passed the order after a hearing on Friday (November 6).

Inspector Firoz Uddin of Tongi River Police Outpost, also the investigation officer of the case, sought an order to keep Disha in jail, saying she might go into hiding if released on bail and could be needed for further questioning.
