Bangladesh, Nov. 1 -- Several well-known figures from Bangladesh sports arena have achieved success in their academic pursuits alongside representing the country on the playing field. The results for the 2026 HSC and equivalent examinations have been released on Saturday.

Among the athletes who have passed are twin sisters Himadri Barua and Niladri Barua-both members of the national women's hockey team, table tennis player Khoi Khoi Sai Marma, national team footballer Mehedi Hasan Shrabon, and cricketer Marufa Akter, along with many others.
