Bangladesh, Nov. 7 -- Students of Government College of Applied Human Science, known as Home Economics College have demanded an independent investigation into a police attack on students at midnight, giving the authorities 72 hours to form a probe committee and take action against those responsible.
In a statement issued on behalf of the college's general students, they warned that they would announce tougher programmes if their demand was not met within the deadline.
The students demanded that the committee identify the police personnel and officials responsible for the attack and ensure exemplary departmental and legal action against them.
