Bangladesh, July 15 -- Stephen Rodriques has joined the United Nations Development Programme in Bangladesh as its new resident representative, replacing Stefan Liller.

Rodriques will lead UNDP's operations in Bangladesh and oversee its support for the country's development priorities.

He will work with the government, development partners, civil society, the private sector and local communities to promote inclusive growth, strengthen resilience and accelerate progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals.
