Bangladesh, Nov. 4 -- Singapore's Non-Resident High Commissioner to Bangladesh Derek Loh met Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr Shafiqur Rahman in Dhaka on Tuesday and discussed state reforms, the economy and bilateral relations.

The meeting took place at 10:30am at the official residence of the opposition leader on Minto Road, according to a Jamaat-e-Islami press release.

The discussions covered the implementation of the July National Charter, major state reforms and the country's current political and economic situation.

They also exchanged views on measures to combat corruption, develop industry and commerce, and advance democracy.
