Bangladesh, May 27 -- An Operator Information Support System (OISS) has been installed at the Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant. This advanced system has been implemented by Russia outside its own territory for the first time.

Rosatom Automated Control Systems (RASU) has successfully integrated the OISS into the Instrumentation and Control (I&C) system of Unit-1, which is currently under commissioning.

On Tuesday (May 26), Dr. Zahedul Hasan, Managing Director of Nuclear Power Plant Company Bangladesh Limited (NPCBL), confirmed the installation of the "smart assistant" system to The New Nation.
