Bangladesh, Aug. 31 -- A stakeholder workshop and tabletop emergency response exercise were held at the Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant (RNPP) to strengthen the preparedness, coordination and response capabilities of relevant national and local agencies in dealing with potential nuclear and radiological emergencies.

The workshop and exercise were organised by Nuclear Power Plant Company Bangladesh Limited (NPCBL) at PD House in Green City, Ishwardi on Saturday.
