Bangladesh, Sept. 3 -- The Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant (RNPP) is set to be integrated with the National Load Dispatch Centre's (NLDC) modern SCADA/EMS control system to facilitate the monitoring and management of its electricity transmission system.

A contract was signed on Wednesday between the Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission (BAEC) and GE Vernova to integrate necessary data from the transmission systems of Units 1 and 2 of the Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant, along with its 400kV and 230kV GIS substations, into the NLDC's SCADA/EMS system.
