Bangladesh, June 28 -- A retired member of the Bangladesh Army, AKM Jahangir Bosunia Russell (45), was killed in a road accident in Nilphamari on Thursday afternoon.
The accident occurred on June 25 in the Dharaniganj area along the Nilphamari-Domar highway.
Russell's wife, Sultana Begum (42), was injured in the accident and admitted to Nilphamari General Hospital for treatment.
According to local residents and police sources, the accident took place in the Kalitala area when the motorcycle carrying the couple collided head-on with a passenger bus traveling from Nilphamari to Domar.
