Bangladesh, Oct. 6 -- The marriage of popular singer Pritom Hasan and model-actress Shahtaj Monira Hashem has broken up.

Both Pritom and Shahtaj officially announced their divorce through a statement on social media around 10:00pm on Sunday.

In a statement on Facebook, Pritom Hasan wrote, "After 10 years of our journey together, Shahtaj and I have decided to end our marital relationship."

"Expressing gratitude for the time, memories and experiences we have shared together," he said that their respect and well-wishes for each other will always remain.
