Bangladesh, Sept. 29 -- The verification and scrutiny of successful candidates for assistant teacher posts in government primary schools will continue until October 1, Education Minister and Primary and Mass Education Dr ANM Ehsanul Hoque Milon said on Monday.

Candidates who do not receive appointment letters by the deadline will have their cases reviewed and resolved subsequently, the minister said.

Milon disclosed the information while responding to journalists at the Secretariat before a meeting of the National Steering Committee on World Teachers' Day 2026.
