Bangladesh, April 3 -- Comilla-4 MP Hasnat Abdullah on Thursday raised concerns in parliament over the ongoing fuel crisis, highlighting the closure of petrol pumps and long queues of vehicles nationwide.
Speaking during the parliamentary session on April 2, he asked why petrol
pumps across the country are shutting down one after another and why long queues are forming.
"What is supposed to happen is not happening. Pumps are gradually shutting down, including in Sylhet.
Vehicles are lining up for fuel, but many are not getting the expected service. Can the minister not see these long lines?" he questioned.
