Bangladesh, June 24 -- Sharmin Rahman Rauma is a journalist, television presenter and singer at a time. She, popularly known as Sharmin Rauma, is working with equal dedication in both her singing and journalism careers. She has been working as a senior journalist at BBC for a long time.

Rauma has been fascinated with music since she was a very young child. June 21 was World Music Day.

On this day, a music festival was organised at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy in Dhaka under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture.
