Bangladesh, July 22 -- NRBC Bank PLC, in collaboration with Bangladesh Bank, organised the "Bangla QR Fair 2026" in Chattogram on Tuesday to promote cashless transactions and raise public awareness of the unified payment system.

The event, held at the Bangladesh Bank Chattogram Office, carried the slogan "One Country, One QR - Transactions with Bangla QR", according to a press release.

Md Hanif Miah, Executive Director and Head of Bangladesh Bank, Chattogram Office, attended the event as chief guest, while Dr Md Touhidul Alam Khan, FCMA, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of NRBC Bank, was the guest of honour.
