Bangladesh, July 10 -- Employees of branch post offices in Nilphamari submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner on Wednesday, demanding a threefold increase in their salaries and allowances and recognition as departmental (government) employees.
The memorandum was submitted to the Deputy Commissioner by leaders of the Nilphamari district committee of the Bangladesh Postal Employees Union (Reg. No. B-2031), the Bangladesh Branch Post Office Employees Association, and the Bangladesh Branch Post Office Employees Unity Council.Demographics
