Bangladesh, Sept. 11 -- The Narayanganj Zila Parishad has honoured students currently studying at the University of Dhaka in the 2024-25 and 2025-26 academic sessions, as well as students who excelled in various categories in the 2026 SSC examinations.

The reception and educational assistance programme was held at the Narayanganj Zila Parishad office at noon on Wednesday (September 9). A total of 71 meritorious students were presented with crests and one-time financial assistance. Each student was also given a fruit-bearing sapling.

The programme was chaired by Mashfakur Rahman, chief executive officer of the Narayanganj Zila Parishad, while Professor Mamun Mahmud, administrator of the Parishad, attended as the chief guest. Council Sec...
