Bangladesh, Sept. 21 -- Narayanganj District Commissioner Mohammad Raihan Kabir has directed all government departments to work in coordination to prevent the spread of dengue in the district.

He also instructed officials to regularly monitor schools, colleges, playgrounds, and government and private institutions to ensure that stagnant water does not create breeding grounds for Aedes mosquitoes. The directives came at the monthly meeting of the District Development and Coordination Committee, held at the conference room of the Narayanganj Deputy Commissioner's Office .
