Bangladesh, June 30 -- Municipal authorities in Muktagacha on Monday unveiled a proposed budget of Tk 361.69 million for the 2026-27 fiscal year, focusing on better civic services, infrastructure development, and sustainable urban growth.

The budget was formally announced at the municipality's conference room by Municipal Administrator and Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Krishna Chandra.

According to the proposed budget, the total outlay for FY 2026-27 stands at Tk 361,689,982.26, compared to the revised budget of Tk 307,507,805.76 for the 2025-26 fiscal year.

The municipality expects to generate Tk 5 million in revenue from its own sources, while Tk 10 million has been allocated from the Climate Change Trust Fund.
