Bangladesh, July 17 -- The 27th annual general meeting (AGM) of Mutual Trust Bank PLC (MTB) was held virtually through a digital platform on Thursday.

Md Abdul Malek, director of the MTB board, presided over the meeting, according to press release. The shareholders approved a 12pc stock dividend for the year ended December 31, 2025.

Among others, directors Khwaja Nargis Hossain and Daniel De Lange (representing Norfund); independent directors, Mohammad Tareque, chairman of the board audit committee, Shib Narayan Kairy, and Zareen Mahmud Hosein; managing director & CEO Syed Mahbubur Rahman; DMD & company secretary Rais Uddin Ahmad; senior management officials of the bank, and a large number of shareholders attended the AGM.
