MP finds no teachers in surprise school visits
Bangladesh, May 15 -- The Member of Parliament of Sunamganj-1 constituency Kamruzzaman Kamrul found no teachers present at three government primary schools during a series of surprise morning visits in his constituency on Thursday.
He said, "If teachers do not arrive at schools even after 10:00am, what will happen to the future of young students? This is clearly irresponsible and against public interest."
Kamrul was initially scheduled to visit Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination centres in Madhyanagar and Dharmapasha upazilas.
However, while travelling, he decided to inspect the regular activities of local educational institutions.
