Bangladesh, March 18 -- The implementation of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman's development promises has begun, even before the election ink is wiped off voters' fingers, said Adv. M. Ruhul Kuddus Talukder Dulu, Whip and MP for Natore-2.
Speaking as the chief guest at the official inauguration of the Mirza Mahmud Canal re-excavation programme at Kumrul Government Primary School grounds in Baraigram Upazila on Monday, Dulu highlighted the project's potential benefits.
"This initiative will help preserve environmental balance, store water, promote indigenous fish species, and enable farmers to irrigate their lands. It will also improve the socio-economic conditions of rural communities," he said.
