Bangladesh, Sept. 25 -- A hybrid solar-operated mini cold storage has been inaugurated in Chouddagram upazila of Cumilla under the government incentive programme for the 2025-26 financial year, aiming to help farmers preserve their produce and obtain better prices.

The facility, named the "Farmers' Mini Cold Storage", was inaugurated at Hilalnagar in Kashinagar Union on Thursday morning by Chouddagram Upazila Executive Officer Shahadat Hossain.

The initiative was launched under the slogan, "Maintain the right temperature and humidity, stay healthy, make more profit."
