Bangladesh, July 14 -- One more child has died with measles symptoms across the country in the past 24 hours, while more than 1,000 new infections have been reported, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

A DGHS Control Room press release issued on Monday said the latest death was recorded among patients with measles symptoms, raising the number of such deaths to 665 between March 15 and July 13.Holidays & Seasonal Events

No new death from laboratory-confirmed measles was reported during the period. The number of confirmed measles-related deaths remained at 93, bringing the combined death toll from measles and measles-like symptoms to 758.
