Bangladesh, Oct. 1 -- The Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology has recommended measures to improve the quality of Teletalk services and expand the use of information and communication technology to develop the younger generation and create jobs.

The recommendation was made at the committee's first meeting at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban on Wednesday, according to a press release.

The meeting was chaired by committee Chairman Kalim Uddin Ahmed. The committee also stressed diversified use of ICT to support the development of a knowledge-based society.
