Bangladesh, Oct. 3 -- Industries Secretary Abdun Naser Khan has stressed the need to combine innovation, knowledge and skills to make optimum use of Bangladesh's limited resources while increasing production at lower costs and in less time.

He also underscored the importance of creating new opportunities to improve productivity by harnessing the talent and creativity of the future generation.

The industries secretary made the remarks while addressing the inaugural ceremony of an innovation fair organised for students at the Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation (BCIC) College campus in Mirpur, Dhaka on Friday marking National Productivity Day 2026, according to a press release.
