Bangladesh, Nov. 2 -- A Cabinet committee has reviewed the progress of the Government Performance Monitoring System (GPMS) and discussed plans to improve its implementation across ministries and government offices.

The meeting was held at the Ministry of Home Affairs at the Bangladesh Secretariat in Dhaka on Sunday, according to a press release.

Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed, chairman of the Cabinet Committee formed to oversee GPMS implementation, presided over the meeting.

Committee members Md Ismail Zabihullah, Prime Minister's Adviser to the Ministry of Public Administration, and Md Abdul Bari, State Minister for Public Administration and Food, attended the meeting.
