Bangladesh, Sept. 22 -- Students of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Gazipur Agricultural University (GAU) formed a peaceful human chain on Sunday, demanding structural reforms in the veterinary profession, stronger field-level services, and protection of the professional rights and identity of registered veterinarians.

The programme began at 11am in front of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science (FVMAS), the university's administrative building, and the main gate. General students joined the programme, while faculty teachers expressed solidarity with the demands.
