Foreign airline flights resume at Sylhet airport
Bangladesh, Sept. 3 -- After eight years, a regular international flight operated by a foreign airline has landed at Sylhet's Osmani International Airport again. The long hiatus in regular foreign airline services ended with the arrival of Oman's SalamAir flight from Muscat on Tuesday.
Sylhet Airport Manager Hafiz Uddin Ahmed said SalamAir's Muscat-Sylhet flight, carrying 133 passengers, landed at Osmani International Airport at 7:55am. After completing passenger formalities, the same aircraft, carrying 224 passengers, departed Sylhet for Muscat at 9:23am.
